The current owners have owned and operated this small family business since 1987. They pride themselves on keeping the historic history alive and are committed to environmental stewardship of the beautiful river. In addition to the general store, LVC offers lodging rentals and is an authorized concessioner for the Buffalo National River.
The General Store offers a little bit of everything! Carrying a variety of local and organic groceries, snacks, and drinks. Souvenirs, outdoor gear, and accessories for camping, floating, hiking, and local arts and crafts. Other supplies offered are non-ethanol gas, ice, and firewood. With years of experience and knowledge, our friendly Lost Valley Canoe and Lodging staff is your hub for all your adventures!

Built in the heart of Ponca in 1923, The Historic Ponca General Store is a little slice of the area history. Local rocks make the exterior structure of this century old building.
Once a booming mining town, this general store played an important role in the community that is still true over 100 years later.
